The Why Behind the Work
Purpose-Driven Health Transformation -
for People and Systems I’m a Certified Professional Health & Wellness Coach and Whole Health Educator dedicated to helping people transform their metabolic and mental health- and supporting the systems and policies that need to change alongside them. My passion is deeply personal: after losing my second child to primary ciliary dyskinesia (PCD), I transitioned from a career in supply chain technology to the world of rare disease research, advocacy, and coaching. I’m also a parent to of another child with a different rare, so not only was the universe telling me something, but also navigating complex medical terrain with few therapies and no cures (or answers) isn’t just something I’ve studied - it’s something I live every day. Early in my career, I learned to think in systems—mapping processes, solving for gaps, and connecting end-to-end networks. That supply chain background has become a powerful metaphor and tool for my work today: whether it’s designing research data infrastructure, launching clinical and research centers, recommending best-practice models, or helping someone connect symptoms to root causes through the lens of metabolic health, I bring the same strategic mindset to the table. I’ve had the privilege of leading initiatives that have accelerated discovery, fueled advocacy, and informed strategies, all while centering the lived experience of patients, families and caregivers. I’ve also become a "power user" of the mental health system while supporting my own family’s journey - fueling my mission to bridge the metabolic–mental health divide and equip others with practical, actionable tools for healing. My time as a collegiate and professional athlete (and a determined middle child!) has shaped how I show up: with resilience, grit, humor, and a deep belief in the power of teamwork. Whether I’m working with individuals, healthcare providers, or systems, I show up as both coach and connector - a teammate, not just a technician. Together, we create clarity from complexity, hope from uncertainty, and results that truly matter. |
