Empower Healthier, More Vibrant Living
It's no secret that achieving a healthy lifestyle is even more critical for anyone who is living or supporting someone with a long-term illness. Whether a rare disease or a more 'common' diagnosis, "getting the most out of what you have" is the best way to prevent compounding existing health concerns with new ones and to live your life to the fullest extent possible - even as that may change over time.  One of the greatest challenges you may face living with daily ills, pains and treatments is how disempowering and isolating the world in which you live in becomes at times.

We offer personalized whole health education, coaching and advocacy programs including online courses, onsite and remote workshops depending on the needs of individuals, families and support organizations. We can personalize educational materials based on a needs assessment to ensure the material is targeted and resonates with the intended audience(s). 

As  much as we'd like to, we can't control the world around us; however, there are many things we can do to make it better for ourselves, our families and our communities - and it starts with you. 
No matter what your diagnosis is or what your undiagnosed symptoms might be, we can help you to create a better way forward by taking action. Following are examples of just a few areas we can explore with you. 
  1. Nurturing Your Empowerment Mentality:  Connect more dots. Tap into more resources (and possibilities!) within yourself. Engage more proactively in your overall well-being, problem solving and shared decision-making.  An empowered mind is a healthier, more resilient mind - one that is more effective at handling the those daily battles and the very war itself.  
  2. Engaging Your Whole Person:  When primary or sole focus is on treating an illness, the basics of staying healthy and living our lives often fall by the wayside. Develop a 360-degree view of yourself so you can fully embrace, "_____________  is what I have not who I am."  According to the CDC, higher levels of well-being are associated with decreased risk of disease, illness and injury, better immune function (key!) and speedier recovery. 
  3. Energizing Your Team Support​: Establish and energize the right team for you: everyone has a role, engenders trust and respect and is committed to helping you heal and restore your quality of life and well-being. Your doctors, other healthcare providers, social workers and case managers bring their expertise.  You bring "you" expertise - and you are the only one that has that. Friends or family members might pick you up when you are down, cheer you on or even give you a kick in your backside when you need it most.
